Miryam is a compact corner sofa bed with storage chaise, designed to use space intelligently without giving up a generous seat, a comfortable chaise longue, and the dimensions of a real mattress. Clean lines, balanced volumes, and compact armrests define a contemporary minimal style, ideal for modern living rooms, apartments, second homes, multifunctional rooms, and hospitality settings.
The special structural design makes it possible to keep the sofa’s overall footprint contained while enhancing the truly usable surface. Miryam therefore offers compact dimensions on the outside and surprisingly generous space on the inside, with a welcoming seat during the day and a 120, 140, or 160 cm bed at night.
The composition is available in widths of 232, 252, and 272 cm, each configurable with a right- or left-hand chaise to be chosen at the time of ordering. The 232 cm version includes a 120 x 197 cm mattress, ideal as a small double; the 252 cm version accommodates a 140 x 197 cm mattress, a French double; the 272 cm version features a standard double mattress of 160 x 197 cm.
The chaise longue with storage compartment offers a spacious, easily accessible area for storing throws, blankets, sheets, pillows, and nighttime accessories. The storage unit helps keep the living room organized without adding extra furniture and turns the chaise into a functional as well as comfortable element.
Adding to this is the pillow storage compartment integrated inside the backrest, a discreet solution that keeps cushions and linens always within reach. The internal iron structure contributes to the compartment’s sturdiness and durability in everyday use.
Seating comfort is enhanced by the reclining headrests with manual ratchet mechanism, adjustable in 7 positions. Each headrest can be tilted to provide customized support for the head, neck, and cervical area while reading, chatting, or relaxing in front of the TV.
The included lumbar cushions support the lower back, promoting a more comfortable posture even during extended sitting. The combination of lumbar support and adjustable headrests makes Miryam an ergonomic sofa bed, designed for intensive use both in day mode and night mode.
The conversion is achieved via a CATAS-certified fold-over bed mechanism, smooth and quiet. With a simple movement, you can open the sleeping surface without removing the seat and back cushions, making the transition from sofa to bed quick and intuitive.
The mechanism frame is made of high-strength furniture-grade tubing and is protected by an epoxy coating designed to counter corrosion of the metal parts. Bayonet fittings simplify the assembly and disassembly of the various elements, also making it easier to transport through doors, corridors, and stairwells.
The welded mesh sleeping base is included as standard and ensures a stable, even surface. The elastic webbing section improves comfort in the lower part of the bed and helps make the seat more welcoming when the mechanism is closed.
For those who want more springy support closer to that of a traditional bed, an optional sleeping base is available with orthopedic slats in eco-friendly wood and a central metal bar, designed to limit bending and sagging over time.
The H14 cm mattress included as standard is made of high-density D30 kg/m³ polyurethane foam. Hypoallergenic and ergonomic, it features a stretch fabric cover, diamond quilting, and a breathable 3D side band designed to promote air circulation and disperse excess moisture.
The mattress’s white outer fabric is hypoallergenic and antibacterial. This configuration makes it possible to use Miryam as a bed for frequent guests, offering a stable, temperature-regulated, comfortable sleeping surface.
For those who want to use the sofa bed more frequently, the optional Height Comfort+ H18 cm mattress is available, made of high-resilience D30 kg/m³ polyurethane foam. The increased thickness, higher density, and breathable 3D band make it suitable for daily and prolonged use of the convertible sofa.
Miryam is fully removable-cover: the frame, seats, backrest, armrests, and chaise can be stripped of their upholstery. The ability to machine-wash the covers simplifies maintenance and makes the model especially suitable for families, homes with children or pets, and heavily lived-in spaces.
This version is made in T31 Bolero fabric, a refined upholstery with a soft hand and a soft-touch effect. The compact, slightly textured weave gives the sofa an elegant, welcoming look while maintaining a cool surface that feels pleasant to the touch.
